Where it all began...

Branham Electric Corp. was established in 1967 by Joe C. Branham. The company was incorporated on June 18, 1970 and began operating from an office warehouse on Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach, VA. 

In 1972, Joe and Katherine Branham bought land on DeBaun Avenue in Chesapeake, VA and built an office warehouse on the property. In 1987-88 we began installing Musco Sports Lighting, LLC of Muscatine, Iowa, and have continued to this present day. However, in 1991 the state took over the property for highway construction, causing the company to move into an office at the Branham residence. In 2000, the Branhams purchased our current location at 4113 S. Military Hwy., Chesapeake, Virginia. and in August 2003, Branham Electric Corp. moved into it’s new home. By 2018, we started installing Musco LED.
